Meet the FNS Team

Kaitlyn Seguin MS, RD, LDN

Kaitlyn knew she wanted to be a dietitian her freshman year of high school after helping her mom lose weight. She supported her mom in developing healthier habits for the whole family, so she was able to actually keep the weight off (to this day!). She obtained her Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She then completed a dietetic internship and Master’s of Science in Dietetics at Sam Houston State University.

Over the last eight years, Kaitlyn has supported families in building healthier lifestyles. She is also passionate about gut health due to her own experience of suffering from severe constipation and bloating for most of her childhood. She did not get the support she needed from her doctor and learned how to improve her gut health on her own.

She started Family Nutrition Solutions after moving to Wilmington with her husband and daughter. They recently welcomed another little girl to their family.

Lindsey Dubas RD, LDN, IFNCP

Lindsey has been a Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist for over 10 years and received her Bachelor's of Science of Dietetics and Secondary in Gerontology from Kansas State University.

Lindsey is an Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner and is passionate about helping guide and partner with her clients to feel optimally inside and out by focusing on sustainable nutrition and lifestyle changes. Taking an individualized, root-cause approach with the clients she works with is very important as there is no “one-size-fits-all” solution to health and nutrition!

Lindsey has experience working with clients focused on women's health, PCOS, hormone health, pre-diabetes, weight loss & weight gain, gut health, thyroid and adrenal health, and healthy aging.

Beyond being a dietitian, Lindsey enjoys cooking and experimenting in the kitchen, music, yoga, reading, and time in nature exploring whether by hiking, biking, paddling, or campervan trips.

Sarah Hammer RD, LDN

Sarah wanted to become a dietitian after completing her first degree in Public health and learning about the impact nutrition has with every aspect of our lives. She later completed her Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition at North Carolina Central University.

Before joining Family Nutrition Solutions, Sarah worked at New Hanover Regional Medical Center as an inpatient dietitian. Sarah absolutely loves supporting parents in their fertility journey and then continuing to help women have a healthy pregnancy and postpartum experience.

Sarah and her husband, Seth, had their own challenges with infertility and are now welcoming a baby girl in September 2024!
